What will we be covering?

 

Beyond 'Diet Culture' is designed to help you move in a new direction, not down the same path you have been on before with traditional “nutrition” and “diet” programs.

Created by two registered dietitians and a medical doctor, our process focuses squarely on wellness, not just weight. We’ll empower you to optimize your lifestyle, and to address the root causes of any health conditions you may be living with. Throughout the program, we look at how all aspects of your lifestyle—food, movement, sleep and mindset—work together to either help or hinder your journey to a healthier, more integrated, brain and body function.

Together we will:

Explore the fundamentals of Metabolic Health

Through a twelve week program of live streaming video classes, as well as unique, downloadable resources.

Support and hold each other accountable

Through a private, members-only community of like-minded peers.

Develop practical strategies and put them to work

Including deploying a customizable nutrition and meal-planning app that puts you in charge of what you and your family eat.

 
 

But What is ‘Metabolic Health?’

 

Defined broadly as the pursuit of optimal—or close to optimal—levels of biomarkers like blood sugar, lipids and more,  metabolic health shifts the focus beyond just weight and offers a more complete picture of an individual’s overall health.

By taking into account a far broader set of data, metabolic health offers a powerful framework that will help you move past the unhelpful judgements that society too often makes about peoples’ weight or body shape, and instead allow you to focus on what matters most: 

Your own personal and specific health goals, and how you feel within your body.
